SDOE Tournament Guidelines

Below is the list of guidelines/rules for the SDOE Tournament. Any changes made before or during the Tournament will only be done on a “need to” basis.

1) Only Squads registered at SDOE Tournament site may compete.

2) Only Squad members registered at the above site prior to a match may compete.

3) Squad members cannot jump from squad to squad. Once you have signed up as a member of a squad you must stay a member (in regards to the Tournamnet) for the duration of the event.

4) Matches may be flown as many times as you like, but ALL the matches must be flown at least once with each participating squad for your squad to be eligible to be declared the winner of the Tournament.

5) Your squad may fly a match shorthanded (missing a squad member), however the match designation is not impacted.

6) The winner of a match is the squad who has the highest percentage of units, i.e. planes, tanks, trucks, etc. sucessfully land/arrive at the designated base/town (the designated base/town will be explained in each mission briefing). This percentage is based solely on the number of units the side had at the beginning of the match.

7) A klaxon will be placed at the designated finish point for each squads unit. When the opposing side hears the klaxon, All Attacks Should Be Broken Off Violators risk losing the match.

8) It is incumbent on the winning squad to post results of the match at the Tournament site for credit.

9) Any disagreements should be resolved between squads, however if a resolution cannot be agreed upon both sides should file their grievence (flip me an email :)) to Pvt.Roger

10) Each match is not complete until both sides agree the outcome has been determined, and what that outcome was.

A successful landing/arrival is defined in the case of an aircraft as landing your plane at the designated Airbase in good enough shape that it is still able to taxi. Planes which have made it to the designated field, only to blow up, or flip over, break their landing gear, etc. are considered destroyed. This has been decided to avoid all questions regarding these situations.
In the case of moving ground vehicles the same basic rules as with the aircraft apply. The vehicles must still be able to move across the ground under their own power.

There is a forum called Challenges, where you can post challenges to other squads.
